Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.
This week is all about covers with something from nature on the cover. I’ve done trees and bodies of water before, so decided to give animals a whirl. (Originally it was going to be flowers, but that was then a prompt for a later week!) The creatures on these covers can be real, mythical, mechanical – anything that looks like a recognisable animal in one way or another. And they’re not all that big or obvious!

These are beautiful book covers. I like that you’ve got such a mix of insects, animals, fish, and reptiles, both imaginary and real. I want to read Starling House, I really like Alix Harrow.

Oh, it’s fab – I hope you get to pick it up soon! I suspect there is an argument to be made that they are not all actually animals, but I’m not a biologist!
