Top Ten Tuesday: Books with units of Time in the Titles

"Tope Ten Tuesday" in a white font mimicking handwriting on navy starry skies

Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

This week is all about the seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, seasons, and years in the titles of books. Here are twenty (some of which are a bit more tangential) titles arranged in increasing order of time unit.

  1. EVERDAY ANGEL – SECOND CHANCES, by V. E. Schwab
  2. SECOND STAR TO THE LEFT, by Megan Van Dyke
  3. THE SMOKING HOURGLASS, by Jennifer Bell
  4. THE THIRTEENTH HOUR, by Trudie Skies
  5. MAY DAY and JUDGEMENT DAY, by Josie Jaffrey
  6. A SONG FOR A NEW DAY, by Sarah Pinsker
  7. WILLOW MOSS AND THE LOST DAY, by Dominique Valente
  8. THE THURSDAY MURDER CLUB, by Richard Osman
  9. THE FRIDAY EDITION, by Betta Ferrendelli
  10. THIS WILL BE FUNNY SOMEDAY, by Katie Henry
  11. EVERYDAY SEXISM, by Laura Bates
  12. THE EMBER DAYS, by Rose Edwards
  13. THE DARK DAYS CLUB, by Alison Goodman
  14. THE EDITORIAL PAGE OF THE FALCHESTER WEEKLY, by Marie Brenan
  15. THE BONE SEASON, by Samantha Shannon
  16. EMPRESS OF ALL SEASONS, by Emiko Jean
  17. A SEASON OF SPELLS, by Sylvia Izzo Hunter
  18. THE FIFTH SEASON, by N. K. Jemisin
  19. YEAR OF THE REAPER, by Makiia Lucier
  20. THE HUNDRED-YEAR-OLD MAN WHO CLIMBED OUT THE WINDOW AND DISAPPEARED, by Jonas Jonasson

What books can you think of that feature units of time?

    1. I just put every word I could think of to do with a unit of time into my blog’s internal media search bar and saw what came up!

    1. TTT posts have become a lot easier since I discovered that you can search though the media stored on your website – I can let the search function do the work rather than my brain!

      1. (On WordPress) on the blogging/back end of the website, there’s media on the panel and you can search through that

    1. That one, admittedly, was one of the “I need a few more to round up to a multiple of 10 – what contains day but could be argued as not a unit of time?” entries!
