Top Ten Tuesday is a fun weekly meme, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Everyone is welcome to join in the fun. This week’s theme is a love freebie for Valentines
As someone who doesn’t particularly enjoy romance in books, mainly because I’m not a big lover of tropes, Valentines posts are always tricky. When I’d settled on books with “love” or “heart” in the title, I was worried I wouldn’t find enough books that I know. Therefore I was pleasantly surprised when (searching my books on Goodreads!) I found ten titles for each. Some are a tad like cheating (a word in the title contains “heart” or “love”).
Books with HEART in the Title
- FROSTHEART, by Jamie Littler
- A HEART SO FIERCE AND BROKEN, by Brigid Kemmerer
- HEART OF IRON, by Ashley Poston
- HEARTSTREAM, by Tom Pollock
- THE PAPER AND HEARTS SOCIETY, by Lucy Powrie
- THE HEART COLLECTER AND OTHER STORIES, by Melinda Salisbury
- HEART OF MIST, by Helen Scheurer
- HEARTLESS, by Marissa Meyer
- HEART OF FLAMES, by Nicki Pau Preto
- THE WITCH’S HEART, by Genevieve Gornichec

Books with LOVE in the Title
- THE FALLING IN LOVE MONTAGE, by Ciara Smythe
- LOVE FROM A TO Z, by S. K. Ali
- TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE, by Jenny Han
- I’D TELL YOU I LOVE YOU, BUT THEN I’D HAVE TO KILL YOU, by Ally Carter
- THE LOVE HYPOTHESIS, by Laura Stevens
- LOVEBOAT, TAIPEI, by Abigail Hing Wen
- GIVE THE DARK MY LOVE, by Beth Revis
- THE LOVE AND LIES OF RUKHSANA ALI, by Sabrina Khan
- A DARKNESS STRANGE AND LOVELY, by Susan Dennard
- REVELATIONS OF DIVINE LOVE, by Julian of Norwich

What books have you read with heart or love in the title?
This is a fantastic list! I’ve read some of these and have a couple more on my TBR, but I’ll have to keep an eye on some of the others.

I have the same problem, I’m not really a romance reader so it’s always tricky to come up with Valentine’s freebies.

I’m so grateful that “Heart” is common in YA Fantasy! Only way to get through!

I chose a different topic, but I’m starting to wish I’d gone with this one because I too was surprised by how many love/heart books I had on Goodreads. The Falling In Love Montage, Love From A to Z, and The Paper & Hearts Society all look awesome.
A few of my personal “heart” faves:
Instruction For A Broken Heart – Kim Culbertson
The Hearts of Horses – Molly Gloss
Lost Dogs and Lonely Hearts – Lucy Dillon

The fun thing about these tags are the variety of interpretations you get from different people!

Very nice twist this week! I still need to read Heartless, and I loved To All the Boys. I’m excited for the last film. ❤
